Head to the Walter E. Washington Convention Center for the return of Nationals Winterfest, this Saturday and Sunday (Dec. 10-11). Winterfest will again feature games, children’s activities and special appearances by your favorite Nationals players, coaches, mascots and even Santa Claus! Here are 10 reasons not to miss this holiday season highlight.

1 The Slider

2 Steal Home Challenge

Fans can race against the clock in the Steal Home Challenge! Compete for the fastest time as you sprint down the third baseline to steal home, just like Bryce Harper or Trea Turner.

3 Toy Drive

Want to meet a Nationals player? Bring a new, unwrapped toy to Winterfest for a chance to win a meet-and-greet with a Nationals player while helping local kids in need this holiday season. Each donor will receive one raffle entry as a reward for their gift(s), and 10 donors will be randomly selected each day to meet with a Nationals player, take pictures and receive autographs. 

4 MASN Moments

8 Youth Baseball Academy

Kids ages 6-13 can participate in games and clinics with coaches and players on the Youth Baseball Academy field. Don’t miss Screech and the Racing Presidents as they go head-to-head in the Nationals Mascot Home Run Derby!
