Mount Vernon Trail

The 18.5-mile trail winds along the Virginia side of the Potomac River between Theodore Roosevelt Island and George Washington's home at Mount Vernon, with scenic view of Old Town Alexandria and the alluring Dyke Marsh along the way. The trail has only 3 hills from start to finish.
