Chaia

An unconventional taco shop serving insanely delicious tacos made entirely with vegetables.

Suzanne Simon and Bettina Stern first started serving their vegan and vegetarian tacos at
D.C.-area farmers markets, and it wasn’t long before the lines began. As expected, their
concept is wildly popular and a Washington, DC specialty. The menu changes based on what’s
in season and tacos can be ordered single or in three’s. The setting is “eco-chic,” and so is the
food.
