Furia Flamenca Dance Company: Recordando La Alhambra

Discover how the Arab-Islamic world fused with the culture of Granada in Spain to help give birth to the gypsy dance form of flamenco. Furia Flamenca dancers will be joined by Barrio Andalusi, a string and percussion ensemble under the direction of Guillermo-Juan Christie, including oud, piano, and Middle Eastern percussion with a special guest appearance by Middle Eastern Yillah Natalie.

The cast is joined by flamenco guitarists Maestro Torcuato Zamora and Juan L. Romero, flamenco percussionist Henry L. Rodriguez, and singer Margarita Ossorio-Goldman to showcase the Northern American and Middle Eastern roots of flamenco.
