Located in the heart of Washington DC’s historic and thriving H Street NE neighborhood, the Atlas is a uniquely restored 1930’s art deco movie theatre that holds a special place in the hearts and minds of many people throughout DC and the region. The Atlas Theatre was fully restored as the Atlas Performing Arts Center in 2006.
For performances, the Atlas is host to adventurous audiences, artists and ideas alike – presenting contemporary performances in music, theatre, dance, film, spoken word and performance art unlike anywhere in the city.
Performance rentals are for theatrical productions, music concerts, dance concerts, and other performances that are ticketed and open to the general public.
With six spacious venues available year-round to host galas, weddings, meetings, conferences, theme parties, birthdays, luncheons, dinners, seminars and fundraisers, the Atlas has a variety of spaces that can be transformed into whatever you can imagine. Venues can be scheduled for combined usage depending upon availability.
